Cocoa Casino does not tell you who runs it. Until 2019 its homepage named SSC Entertainment N.V.; since 2020 it has named no one, and nothing we found says who runs it today. The only licence number in its website code belongs to its software supplier's default settings, and the body that issued that number says it cannot verify Cocoa. Our team checks every fact here against Cocoa's own pages, the archives of its site and the regulator's records before we publish.

Who owns Cocoa Casino?

Cocoa's About page answers the question without answering it:

"Cocoa Casino is an online casino owned and operated by an incorporated corporation organized licensed and regulated by the Government of Curacao for the purpose of operating an online casino."

No company is named on the terms, the privacy policy, the security page or the footer, which reads only "© 2026 Cocoa Casino". We read the footer from the UK and from Canada on 29 September 2026.

The archive tells an older story. Cocoa's homepage in November 2019 carried this line:

"SSC Entertainment N.V. Heelsumstraat 51, E-Commerce Park Vredenberg, Curaçao ... Gaming License Number: 8048/JAZ2011-012"

Copies of the homepage from September 2020 to October 2024 name no company. OpenCorporates still lists SSC Entertainment N.V. as a Curaçao company, but it is not on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's register of 31 August or 21 September 2026, and nothing current connects it to Cocoa. I can tell you who ran Cocoa in 2019. I cannot tell you who runs it now, and neither can Cocoa's own site.

Is Cocoa Casino licensed?

Its pages say "Government of Curacao" and stop there. The only licence number in its website code is "#8048/JAZ", which is the software platform's default, not a setting of Cocoa's own. That number belongs to Antillephone, and Antillephone's own checker, read on 29 September 2026, says:

"Antillephone cannot verify the licensing status of cocoacasino.com ... Operating status: INVALID"

Cocoa has no entry on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's register, edition of 21 September 2026. Its security page adds a claim that it is "regulated by the Kingdom of the Netherlands", while its own terms list the Netherlands among the countries it does not accept. I report both statements as Cocoa wrote them. Cocoa claims no British licence, and neither Cocoa nor any company once linked to it appears on GamStop's list of participating companies.

Cocoa Casino sister sites

Cocoa says it has sisters. Its terms forbid "more than one account on an affiliated sister casino under the same management as Cocoa Casino", and elsewhere refer to "any brand within the Rival network". But it names no sister and no company, so no sister can be confirmed.

What we can show is a shared platform. Paradise 8's terms repeat Cocoa's word for word, including the same list of restricted countries, and the text file behind Cocoa's website is identical to True Fortune's (rated 3.1 out of 5 in our research). That links the software, not the owners.

Other sites go further. Wizard of Odds says Cocoa is run by AffDynasty Group, previously Silverstone Overseas Ltd; onlinecasinodollar.com names Pan De Bono Consulting Limited, with Windward Circle B.V. as licence holder; thesistersite.co.uk and casinogroupguide.com name SSC Entertainment N.V., and casinogroupguide.com lists Paradise 8, This Is Vegas and DaVinci's Gold alongside Cocoa. Those are their claims, read on 29 September 2026. None of Cocoa's own pages or any register we read confirms them for today.

What the terms say about deposits, withdrawals and complaints

  1. Deposit fee: "A 3% processing fee will be taken on all deposits."
  2. Approval time: "The approval time may take up to 12 working days".
  3. Weekly cap: verified players may "withdraw up to 1000 €/$/£/AUD (10,000 ZAR) per week"; the terms also set 10,000 credits a month and 1,500 credits per withdrawal.
  4. UK withdrawals: "players in the US, Australia, and UK can currently withdraw winnings through Bitcoin only."
  5. Age: the terms say players must be 25 or older; the About page says 18. The two pages disagree.
  6. Complaints: no complaints procedure and no independent dispute body is published. The terms say only that "In case of dispute, the Terms and Conditions hold final authority".

Sites like Cocoa Casino, and what to check first

A site like Cocoa Casino is simply another online casino that offers something similar. That does not make it a sister. A sister is run by the same operator as Cocoa Casino or owned by the same company, as the casinos' own pages or the regulator's record show; a look-alike is neither, so nothing on this page about Cocoa's terms, fees or licence carries over to it.

Before you trust any look-alike, I would check who its terms name as the operator, then find that company's licence on the regulator's own register. If you want to stay within the British system, these posts cover casinos licensed in Great Britain: Mr Q is run by Tek Fox Ltd, Jackpotjoy by Gamesys Operations Limited and Gala Bingo by LC International Limited, each under a Gambling Commission licence. For the method, see how to check who runs a casino.

Our take

Cocoa has operated under a named company in the past, which makes its silence now harder to excuse. The claims about its owner come from review sites that disagree with one another. On the casino's side there is a licence number its issuer will not vouch for, a 3% charge on every deposit, withdrawals that can take 12 working days, and no one named to complain to. Our research rates it 2.5 out of 5, rated on four of six criteria from its own pages. I would not deposit there.

Safer gambling

A casino outside the British system is also outside GamStop and outside the Gambling Commission's complaint routes. If gambling is costing more than you can afford, you can block every site licensed in Great Britain for free at GamStop, or call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 802 0133. If you are in Great Britain and are offered gambling by a business that does not appear to hold a licence, you can report it through the Gambling Commission's Tell us something in confidence page.
