1. Nature and purpose of the content

Puntide is an information site. Its research looks at who operates casinos and how those casinos are connected. It is not a casino, it does not take bets or deposits, and nothing on it is an offer to gamble.

On this site a sister is a casino run by the same operator or owned by the same company, shown on the casinos' own pages or the regulator's record. A shared licence alone never makes a sister. Anything else is a claim, and we label it as one.

The about page says who writes the research.

2. Age limit and regional suitability

You must be 18 or over to use this site. The Gambling Commission gives the same figure for gambling: in most cases, the minimum legal age in Great Britain is 18.

This site is written for UK players. The Gambling Commission licenses and regulates the individuals and businesses that provide gambling in Great Britain. Casinos accept players from some countries and not others, and some casinos we write about do not accept players from the UK. A casino's own terms say who it accepts. It is your responsibility to check those terms, and the law where you live, before you register anywhere.

3. Accuracy of information

Each casino figure on this site is that casino's own term on the date a page shows as checked. Research reads each casino's own pages on that date, and our team tests the casinos and checks every fact on a page before it is published.

Where a page says who runs a casino, we check the registers it names, such as the Curaçao Gaming Authority's Online Gaming License Registry and the Gambling Commission public register, and quote them as they read. A register changes over time, so a quoted record shows what it said when we read it.

Casinos change their terms without notice, so read the casino's own terms before you deposit. The steps we follow are set out on our method page.

4. Intellectual property

Unless a page says otherwise, the text and design of this site and the Puntide name belong to us. Casino names, marks and brand material belong to the casinos and their owners, and quotes from casino pages and registers remain the property of their sources.

Do not copy whole pages, or present our research as your own work, without our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own reading. Do not copy its pages in bulk, collect them with automated tools, or republish our research or ratings as your own.

Do not try to disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses, or reach anything that is not offered to visitors. Do not use the site to break the law, or to suggest that a casino, regulator or person has endorsed us when they have not.

6. External links and affiliate links

Some links on this site lead to other websites, including casinos. Links to casinos may earn us a commission. A commission has no effect on the facts we report.

We do not control other websites. Once you leave this site, the other party's own terms, privacy rules and complaints steps apply, and we are not responsible for its content or for how it treats you. Our affiliate disclosure says whether any link pays the site today.

7. Limitation of liability

The information on this site is research for general information. It is not legal, financial or professional advice, and a rating or comparison does not promise how a casino will treat you.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from gambling, for decisions you make using this site, for casino terms that changed after the date we checked, or for the content of other websites we link to. We do not promise that the site is free of errors or always available.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Responsible gambling

Gambling can cause harm. If it is a problem for you or someone you know, stop and read our responsible gambling page, which lists the help services, with their numbers and links, and the tools casinos provide.
